Description:
When Presley’s boss is found hanging, she thinks it's suicide until the police discover it's homicide. Who would want to kill a boutique owner? Presley’s not sure, but she’s determined to find out. The cute detective assigned to the case makes it all the more exciting.
My Thoughts:
Presley has a new job working at Silk a high end clothing line. Not long into this book she finds her boss hanging in the changing room. After calling 9-1-1 Presley spends a while going over everything she can think of to a cute cop, hoping that she can be cleared of the crime. Presley's big question is who killed her boss? And why did they kill her?
There are a few options there is her boss's soon to be ex-husband who wanted her to sell the company. While he is a lawyer there is always the possibility of a murder for hire situation, an ex- employee who may yet again hire someone to kill the boss. But what is there to gain?
This book was full of things we come to expect with Ms. Turner, the twists and turns and adventure that comes with Presley Thurman book. Definitely a great addition to the series that really makes you want to read more until you run out of pages. Definitely a fun series and great for those who love reading about Chicago, and mystery!
