Review: Until There Was You by: Kristin Higgins

Title: Until There Was You
Author: Kristan Higgins
Publisher: Harlequin Books
Pages: 384
Source: NetGalley Arc

Description:

Posey Osterhagen can't complain. She owns a successful architectural salvaging company, she's surrounded by her lovable, if off-center, family and she has a boyfriend—sort of. Still, something's missing. Something tall, brooding and criminally good-looking—something like Liam Murphy.

When Posey was sixteen, the bad boy of Bellsford, New Hampshire, broke her heart. But now he's back, sending Posey's traitorous schoolgirl heart into overdrive once again. She should be giving him a wide berth, but it seems fate has other ideas….

My Thought:

The main characters in this book are Posey Osterhagen and Liam Murphy.  In high school Posey  had a huge crush on Liam the bad boy.  Liam left NH after graduation and moved to California with his wife Emma Tate and had a daughter Nicole.  Now Liam is back with his daughter after his wife has died of cancer, and he is bumping into Posey everywhere he goes.

Something about her stirs something in him. Liam is also suffering from numerous OCD, and anxiety issues.  I love Kristan Higgins books, they are great and always make me eager to learn about the love relationship she is dealing out now.  This one is just as good as her others, Ms. Higgins has a way of bringing her characters to life, and making you feel like they are friends of yours.  Great job!
