Review: My One and Only by: Kristin Higgins

Title: My One and Only
Author: Kristan Higgins
Publisher; Harlequin Books
Pages: 384
Source: NetGalley

Description:

Just when she thought she had life and love all figured out…

Divorce attorney Harper James can’t catch a break. Bad enough that she runs into her ex-hubby, Nick, at her sister’s destination wedding, but now, by a cruel twist of fate, she’s being forced to make a cross-country road trip with him. And her almost-fiancĂ© back at home is not likely to be sympathetic.

Harper can’t help that Nick has come blazing back into her life in all of his frustratingly appealing, gorgeous architect glory. But in Nick’s eyes, Harper’s always been the one. If they can only get it right this time, forever might be waiting—just around the bend.

My Review:

Harper finds herself going to her sister’s wedding, although she tries everything in her power to convince her sister Willa that this wedding shouldn’t happen.  We learn more about the relationship between Nick and Harper and how their relationship fell apart.  I also learned alot about Harper’s parents and how she came to feel the way she does about things.

Nick has loved Harper since the moment he met her, never loosing sight of that.  When they see each other again it’s like a magnetic pull drawing them closer to each other again.  This book was full of adventure as the two travel back across the country to NY and Boston.

In the end Harper knows what she wants and finds herself wanting it to be a success this time and knowing the only way to get that is to jump in and not worry about what will happen.  Throwing caution to the wind she jumps in and what a bumpy ride it is.  I loved it!
