Review: Mum's The Word by: Kate Collins

Title: Mum’s The Word
Author: Kate Collins
Publisher: Mass Market Paperback
Pages: 304
Series: A Flower Shop Mystery #1

Description:

Abby Knight is the proud owner of her hometown flower shop, but a new low-cost competitor is killing her profits-and a black SUV just rammed her vintage Corvette in a hit-and-run. She’s determined to track down the driver, but when the trail turns deadly, the next flower arrangement might be for her own funeral.

My Thoughts:

When Abby arrives at work that last thing she expects is that someone is going to hit her 1960 Corvette and drive off.  She is beyond upset about this and determined to find out who swiped her classic car, she and a local bar owner Marco do everything to get to the bottom of the mystery.  Corrupt cops, drug dealers and jerky husbands make this one rock ride.  I loved the series, learning about Abby and her co-workers and her family what a great story.  Definitely glad I checked this series out.  Great for anyone who loves cozy mysteries and florists.
