My Thoughts:
Cameron McKenzie has been burned in the worst way when his ex-wife after having his daughter ditched both husband and baby. Wanting nothing to do with either of them, they have thrived and made a life for themselves. Rina aka Carina takes care of Kaitlyn who is need a woman's touch.
Rina is at the end of her rope with her romantic feelings towards Cameron, after professing her feelings and getting shut down by Cameron she decides to play by harder rules. Ending their babysiting/daycare at the end of the year. She finds it harder to deal with Cameron who wants a friendship and nothing more.
This was a great novella for the holiday season, a chance to return to Fool's Gold and see what romances are blooming.
