Outside The Society.
Chasing down an uncertain future, Cassie makes her way to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky--taken by the Society to his sure death--only to find that he has escaped into the majestic, but treacherous canyons.  On this wild frontier are glimmers of a different life and the enthralling promise of rebellion.  But even as Cassia sacrifices everything to reunite with Ky, ingenious surprises  from Xander may change the game once again.

My Review:

Cassia is an aberration now,  trying to find Ky also now again an aberration.  Cassia ends up friending Indie and Ky friends Vick and Eli all doing their best to survive the horror of the Outer Provinces.  Before Cassia left Xander stole a bunch of blue, green and red pills for her.  During her travel to find Ky she took on, without Indie knowing right away.  Indie let Cassia know the meaning of the pills.

Finally finding Ky Cassia and Indie are determined to find The Rising.  Ky explains to Cassia and Indie about how Vick died.  They stumble across Hunter a farmer who stayed behind with Sarah a sick girl.  They bargain with Hunter to find The Rising.  Ky wants nothing to do with the rising, but decides later on he would rather be with Cassie then without and joins the rising.

Ky, Indie and Cassia are given different missions for the rising.  Some going back to the society and some being pilots.

Cassia also learns Xander has a secret to tell her, Ky knows what it is but won't tell her as it's Xander's secret.  Indie thinks she knows what is happening, but can't be positive.

What a great book and series I love how they are rising up against the Society and will be curious to how it all plays out in the end.
