My Review:

I enjoyed this story as we learn more about Damen and his history with Ever. We also learn that evil forces are always at play. While Ever is learning about her powers someone is set to alienate Ever, to remove her from her safe comfort of friends and family. While Ever finds herself having a hard enough time convincing her Aunt things are fine, she has to dig deep within herself to find out what is going on with her friends and boyfriend, who have seemed to turn their back on her. While Damen grows sicker by the day, Ever makes a deal with Devil so to speak. Roman has convinced Ever to make the worst deal possible. I did enjoy learning more about Summerland. Can't wait to read Shadowland. A four cup book indeed!
