My Thoughts:

“On Dublin Street” is Samantha Young’s first adult book.

I must admit that after “50 Shades of Grey,” I did not want to pick up a book from this category ever again. But then, people whose tastes in books I trust kept saying I have to read it. So I did.

First of all, it’s a quick read—I finished it in about 4 hours. The way that it’s fast-paced helps this a lot. Secondly, the characters are believable and lovable; they’re not two dimensional, they all have pasts. In addition, this book didn’t make me roll my eyes, going, “yeah, right!” while reading the sex scenes. Young apparently knows what “enough is enough” means and didn’t turn her book into some bad porn on paper.

If you’re looking for steamy, sexy reading, this should do it. And you won’t feel like you’re wasting your time because it actually has content.
