My Thoughts:
When Finlay Jane gets fired from her last job due to protecting a child she winds up home with her parents which lasts a very short time as she is offered the job of protecting Phoebe who is engaged to Lord Vincent. She accepts the job unsure of what it entails and finding the family pleasant the situation odd at best but then again Finlay Jane isn't your normal girl. She has super strength and can do things that surprised me. What an incredible introduction to the Steampunk Chronicles. I really enjoyed this and think Kady Cross does a great job with this story.
