My Thoughts:
This was given to me from NetGalley for a honest and fair review. Emily Castle heads home to North Carolina after a major storm has occurred and residents of Sand Castle Bay are finally allowed back to rebuild after the storm. In this situation it brought three women together who use to summer with their grandmother Emily, Samantha and Gabi come to aid their grandmother and rebuild up the restaurant that got damaged due to the storm, which brought Emily face to face with her ex-boyfriend Boone who she ranaway from over 10 years ago.
Boone Dorsett has gone through alot over time married to Jenny who gave him a beautiful son BJ before dying young. Boone is also having issues with Jenny's mother who blames the death of her daughter on Boone. Boone and Emily try to keep a safe distance without letting romance creep in. Which with author Sherryl Woods is impossible.
Boone and Emily soon reconnect and work together to try to get Jenny's mother to see that what she is doing isn't what her daughter would want. This book is great and reminds me on some levels of the Sweet Magnolias and Chesapeake Shores books.
