My Review:

This book follows Heather Janke as she owns a donut shop and finds out her former assistant Christa was murdered.  Heather finds herself wanting to find out what happened to Christa.  Was it Christa's brother who was cut out of his father will recently due his drug abuse?  Her mother who seems to side with Christa's brother about his innocence of drug issues recently?  Or her former boyfriend who lied about his connection to Christa?  About all Heather knows is that Christa took off with recipes that Heather gave her to open a donut shop of her own.  Who would kill her and why?

I loved this series and how we got to meet Heather and her friends and people who frequent her shop, along with her good friend Amy who helps Heather make sense of the murder and who had the most to gain.  It reminded me of Jessica Beck's Donut series I really loved it so much can't wait to see what's next for Heather and her friends!

Next in the series is:
