Title: Maple Frosted Murder
Author: Susan Gillard
Publisher: Guardian Publishing
Series: A Donut Hole Cozy Mystery #2
Pages: 218
Format: Kindle e-book

Description:

A professional and very public rivalry with the owner of the corporate cookie cutter donut shop owner, leaves Heather as the prime suspect in his murder, when his body is discovered.

Health inspectors, shady business practices and a tangled web of intrigue unfold as Heather dives headfirst into the case, determined to clear her name and uncover who is the cold storage killer.

My Thoughts:

This book picks up not long after the first book in this book Heather is dealing with another donut shop who is trying to taint people's opinions of her donuts.  While Heather is trying to deal with the rival owner she finds the following day he's been killed.  There are no shortage of suspects.  There is his wife who doesn't seem too broken hearted over his death to his business assistant who is not pleased with him or his accountant who he's alienated as well.  Who had the most to see him dead and why?

I enjoy this series so far each book adds more to the characters and the mystery they involved.  They are just enough to pull you in and want you reading more to find out what is next from Heather, Amy and Det. Shepard.  Can't wait to see where they will go next.  Next in the series is:
