My Thoughts:
Our beloved Cassia, Ky and Xander all scattered all over. Ky is flying supplies to various rebel groups. Cassia is stuck in the Capital unable to get out reduced to selling papers for information from Ky or to Ky. Xander is a medic who is helping where he can. But when the plague starts breaking out and the cure seems unheard of will our trio figure this out in time or will they all die from it?
This book finds all three in various different states helping the rebellion. Cassia sorting like she is always been good at. What secrets lie within Cassia and her family. What she leanrs makes her a valuable resource to the rebellion.
Ky just wants to go to Cassia and take her away forever so they can start over and not be bothered by any of it. Ky gets hit with the plague and Cassia and Xander rush to figure out a solution.
Xander feels torn between two girls Cassia his match and another girl he finds himself drawn to who will he pick?
I love this dystopian series it had so much depth and information that wonderful poetry to keep bringing you back in to see where they wind up and it ends nicely. While not everything is perfect, it gets better everyday!
