Description:

Nick Gautier's day just keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks, only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters and demons out to claim his soul.

His new principal thinks he's even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can't even mention and the girl he's not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.

But more than that, he's being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn't learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them...

My Thoughts:

This is the 2nd book in the Cronicles of Nick.  Nick is having another wonderful day as he starts to see Demons everywhere he turns.  He still has the voice of Ambrose in his head claiming to be his Uncle.  Now that the football coach and Principal are gone two new ones have been hired but something about the football coach rubs Nick the wrong way.  Nick goes to his various friends to find out what they can.

In this book we also learn more about Nick's friends like Bubba use to be married and have a child until they died.  How Caleb is a demon trying to protect Nick even though all he really wants is to be free.  Then of course the big dilemma in Nick's life the football coach who is into some dark things which Nick has to change in order to say the football teams life and his own.

I love Nick he has got a sharp tongue to everyone he deals with, but you know he generally cares about his friends and mother.  He also has a interesting relationship with the two Dark-Hunters he knows they help him when they can.  Nick just can't seem to keep the baddies from coming to get him!
