My Review:

Well for starters I love the cover the bright colors mixed in with Vegas bling, just incredibly great looking.  I have been a huge fan of Deborah Coont's Lucky O'Toole series for anyone who hasn't read her books here's brief opinion of Lucky to date,

Lucky is a tough girl growing up with her mother who use to own a brothel, and works for her father at The Babylon where she cleans up messes and make sure things go smoothly which isn't always the case, most of the time Lucky is bouncing in many directions.  In the end Lucky always gets her man! Lucky in the way of love was always in love with Teddy but recently they broke up and she keeps trying to put him behind her. Which is sometimes easier said then done.

On to this book it starts out with a woman is found dead on a Ferrari with a shoe in her neck.  Of course Lucky can't help but crack a few jokes about shoes. As she delves into the mysterious Slyvia Dane she finds out that she married to Dane who has done work for Lucky's father.  Dane seems to have alot to hide and everything points to him as the bad guy but did he really do his wife in or did someone else with something to gain.

There was so much going on in this book, Lucy still trying to get over her relationship with Teddy and move on with the French chef Jean-Charles.  Lucky is also dealing with multiple dead people from Slim Shady to a co-worker that Lucky had to fire to Dane's wife.  Lucky is trying to get to the bottom of it.  This book was full of Vegas charm along with more questions that answers I love how Deb Coonts is able to bring Vegas to a book and draw you in everytime and returning us to old characters we have come to love like the beautiful Jeremy, Mona Lucky's mother, to Brandy the dancer turned executive assistant.  Definitely a great series for anyone who loves mystery and reading about Vegas!

Talk about a major twist at the end of the story can't wait to see where her next book takes us!
