Description:

Sometimes it's when you least expect it, that something wonderful happens, but for Andy Garrington the timing couldn't have been worse. Being sent half way round the world to Afghanistan, Andy is prepared for a fight, but what he doesn't expect is the most important battle of his life to carry on at home. For Samantha Litton, running into her childhood crush at the pub one evening seems like good fortune. But when he is called away to war and she is left behind, things don't seem quite so clear and Sam has to determine who is telling her the truth and who is playing her for a fool, when all seems fair in love and war.

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed reading about Andy, Sam, Kate, Dean and all the other characters in this book.  When Andy, Dean and some other army men go out for a last hurrah before being sent to Afghanistan they go to a club where Kate and Sam and some other friends of theirs are, Andy becomes smitten by Sam as he listens to her sing but misses the opportunity to get her eye as Dean the ladies man is first to get Sam's attention.

Little does Sam know Dean has no interest in Sam he's using her like all women another notch on the belt.  When Andy figures this out he writes to Sam and explain that Dean is going to be in an area where he can't write but Andy would like to converse with Sam.

As the book proceeds you seem the mistakes Sam, Dean and Andy make and the road to happiness isn't always a smooth ride.  Andy and Sam make their mistakes but when it comes down too it they have what it takes to get through anything together.

I really enjoyed the story and can't wait to see what Ms. Jones comes up with next!
