Description:

Stephanie Plum faces the toughest puzzle of her career in the twenty-fifth entry in Janet Evanovich's #1 New York Times bestselling series.

There's nothing like a good deli and the Red River Deli in Trenton is one of the best. World famous for its pastrami, cole slaw and for its disappearing managers. Over the last month, three have vanished from the face of the earth, the only clue in each case is one shoe that's been left behind. The police are baffled. Lula is convinced that it's a case of alien abduction. Whatever it is, they'd better figure out what's going on before they lose their new manager, Ms. Stephanie Plum.

My Thoughts:

This book follows Stephanie as she is in trouble again this time she finds herself managing a deli shop while managers keep disappearing at the dumpsters the only clue a shoe is left behind.  Stephanie can't believe it's alien abduction like Lula suggests and finds herself loosing people who are needing to be re-bonded.  Not even Ranger or Morelli can figure this one out.  Will Stephanie figure it out in time?

I swear only in Janet's world can Stephanie be such a laugh riot.  I couldn't even dream up have the pickles Stephanie and Lula end up in.  This one didn't disappoint while there was a mystery there was also a lot of laughing watching the girls get to the bottom to find out where all the managers went to.

You would think after 25 books Ms. Evanovich would slow down on her characters and their issues but nope each book offers more than the one before.  You find yourself on one hell of a roller coaster ride with Stephanie as the main attraction.  Can't wait to see what Stephanie lands herself into next time!
