Description:

Imagine a world in which nothing is as it should be. Those whom we love do not recognize us. The basic laws of society no longer apply. And the dead do not remain still. This is the world in which reporter Kevin Turner finds himself. Now finding out the facts of the story do not matter as much as finding a way to stay alive.

My Thoughts:

This was a very action packed book when we start out we meet Kevin Turner a reporter with a local paper who is looking into what happened at the airport when people were reported going mad and eating each other.  When Kevin gets there he knows something is off.  For one thing the airport is like deserted and for another the head person in charge at the airport claims it was a drinking incident.  Kevin doesn't buy that for a minute and goes to head home when he notices that the waitress in a local coffee shop at the restaurant starts to change and go after him, acting a tad off Kevin heads towards the military that are outside where he finds out nothing is what he thinks.

Alot of this book was Kevin realizing that the people he thought were normal were far from it.  This book has it all well minus romance, it has action, adventure, horror, big YUCK factor.  While I was reading it I was reminded of those Resident Evil movies.  This book would be great for fans of resident evil.  It was a great read to say the least.
